I have doubts about ever writing any sci-fi or fantasy, but I need to create worlds. World building is something I just do naturally, but the other aspects of story writing - plot, dialog, characterization - are very difficult for me and not that enjoyable.
So I plan to write down all the details of my worlds (or at least my fantasy world) and place them under a creative commons license. If anyone find them interesting they can read them. And maybe someday someone good at plot, etc. but not so good at world building will use my world for a story. Or maybe I will actually write a story; in that case having the world written down should help with consistency.
